Proof roadmap

  1. 1Produce genuine Gibbs normalization before using a tilt

Positive lower curvature and C2 V feed the existing Gibbs augmentation producer. Its actual positive partition integral is nonzero; Integrable.of_integral_ne_zero yields exp(−V)∈L1(volume). This establishes that the literal μ is a probability, rather than relying on a totalized zero integral. Finite-dimensional volume and its positive-open-set property are inherited ambient facts, not new theorem binders.

  2. 2Identify the actual posterior as the combined normalized potential

Using the genuine exp(−V) integrability, the existing tilted_tilted theorem combines the literal μ tilt with its quadratic likelihood. Pointwise algebra gives the same combined potential V(x)+‖x−y‖²/(2η) at each y. No arbitrary almost-everywhere conditional representative is used.

  3. 3Keep the exact inverse map and the factor8η

For T_y(x)=2x−y the inverse is (u+y)/2. Its displacement from y is (u−y)/2, so the original quadratic denominator2η becomes8η. This gives exactly the paper’s reflected source potential W_y. Its parameter-y score is −∇V((y+u)/2)/2−(y−u)/(4η); this differs from the u-gradient. The score formula is source context here, not an additional exported derivative theorem.

  4. 4Apply the genuine normalized affine-map theorem

The existing affine Gibbs theorem applies to F_y(x)=V(x)+‖x−y‖²/(2η), scale2 and translation−y. Its change-of-variables normalization retains the inverse Jacobian2^(−d), equivalently Z_S(y)=2^d Z_R(y), so the normalized laws agree exactly. Substitute the proved inverse-potential identity and rewrite −y+2x=2x−y. The result is every-y S_y=(T_y)_#R_y, including d=0.

  5. 5Transport the whole literal mean function, then use true C1 regularity

The Gaussian reflected-mean parent applies to the actual probability μ, η>0 and compact C1 f. Its domination, numerator derivative, positive normalizer and continuous integrated derivative are internal verified background. Rewrite the measure equality at EVERY y in the whole mean function and consume this C1 result. An AE fiber identity would not justify this derivative transport.

  6. 6Consume the paper’s original kernel and a noncentered rank-zero source law

The genuine Tests use the original two-sided Hessian and βη≤1 assumptions. MacroscopicEnergy supplies probability of the same μ; GaussianConditionalKernel constructs a Markov conditional R for the same Gaussian augmentation J and identifies every literal posterior fiber. The new law identity yields every source S_y probability and its smooth compact mean C1. Separately, dimension0 with V=0, α=η=1 and f=1 produces actual source mean1 and actual derivative0. Neither Test assumes centering or a closure certificate.

All objects and hypotheses

  • Finite-dimensional real Hilbert/Borel E, with canonical volume; rank zero is an explicit authored extension.
  • C2 potential V, positive α and global Hessian lower bound D²V(x)[v,v]≥α‖v‖²; any η>0; signed compact C1 real f.
  • The paper consumer retains the original upper Hessian β, βη≤1 and smooth compact f. Their omission here is explicitly sufficient-background generalization, never a repair of the source main statement.
  • μ, R_y and S_y are the exact normalized tilts displayed at every y. No caller probability, L1, partition, Jacobian, affine law, derivative or domain certificate is assumed.

Mathematical proof

1. Produce genuine Gibbs normalization before using a tilt
