# Random stopping consistency for completed Ito integrals
The elementary random-stopping theorem and the `L²` stopping contraction now
combine to give the completed statement: for any progressive square-integrable
integrand on a finite horizon, integrating the closed stopped integrand agrees
almost surely with evaluating the continuous Ito process at the bounded
stopping time.
The proof uses only density, the Ito isometry, pathwise convergence of the
canonical elementary Ito processes, and uniqueness of convergence in measure.
It does not invoke optional stopping.
